In other news we are launching another new product that is going to help soothe those aching muscles from statins and soothe those brains from migraine.

Introducing CoQ10 as

You see the challenge with CoQ10 is the issue of absorption, the same as it is with turmeric.

And in fact, the makers of our PHYTOSOMAL Curcumin and

Boswellia, are the makers of

So they put it to the test against normal powdered CoQ10 in human test subjects. Note: AGAIN we are using products BACK BY RESEARCH.

In the past I had used any old CoQ10 with no research and frankly, the results were disappointing.

And I was not alone:

So when we decided to create one, we had to have some research to back it up.

Here they tested 100 mg of CoQ10 in normal powdered form

vs only 30 mg of

As you can see, the UBIQSOME (RED SQUARES), was more than 300% better absorbed and also critically STAYED in the system for 48 hours, see below also as AUC (Area Under Curve).

But as we have seen with turmeric, getting into the blood is all well and good, but then what?

That is why we have our patented blend of PHYTOSOMAL curcumin and boswellia, because they have human studies showing effects.

We need CoQ10 into the cell and turn on energy, because statins have a nasty habit of turning production off as when they block cholesterol production they also block CoQ10 production.

And CoQ10 is a rate-limiting nutrient for ENERGY production.

So that is what they tested with UBIQSOME.

60 patients with statin associated muscle pain and weakness, given either 60 mg UBIQSOME or placebo for 8 weeks – AND critically, they stayed on the statin.

They assessed hand grip (HG) strength, 1 minute sit to stand reps (STS reps), 2 minute step test (2MST) and a VAS.

Hand grip increased by 30%, no change in placebo.

1 Min STS, 36% increase, no change in placebo

2 mins step test, 11% increase, no change in placebo.

VAS 50% decrease in pain and weakness, 20% increase in placebo.

To be clear, I have not seen any other studies with positive results when the patients STAYED on the STATIN – this shows how powerful UBIQSOME is.

However, I would always prefer them to take a short 2 week break, with 100 mg CoQ10 going in, so we see a much more definitive change and patients remember what “normal” is.

We will discuss this and more (such as vitamin D and statins)

On Wednesday 24th September at 7.30PM on zoom, in our statin side effect webinar.

In the meantime, grab some CoQ10 as UBIQSOME.

RRP is £29 for 60 capsules, trade is £23 per pouch in a case.

Maintenance is x1 daily (50 mg daily), but use 100 mg, which is ideally x1 twice daily for statin side effects or migraine
